Can I list my coffee place on Beansider for free?
Yes. Basic Listing is free, and you can submit a café, bakery, restaurant or another venue where coffee forms part of the experience. Beansider reviews submissions before deciding whether to publish a profile. Start through our List on Beansider page; submission does not guarantee acceptance or immediate publication.
What is the difference between Basic Listing and Premium Spotlight?
Basic provides a curated profile with standard placement in the directory. Premium Spotlight adds priority placement, a distinct badge, an expanded photo gallery and additional space for equipment and coffee details, including Single Origin and Decaf information when available. Premium costs €15 per month, billed annually at €180.
How does Premium placement work?
Premium venues receive priority within Beansider's city and country listings, while Specialty Coffee Shop classification remains part of the sorting order. Placement is a visibility feature, not a ranking of the best venues, and individual positions may change as listings are added or updated. Premium does not guarantee higher Google rankings or customer visits.
Can I claim or update an existing venue profile?
Yes. Venue owners can contact Beansider to claim a profile or request changes to details such as opening hours, photographs, equipment and coffee information. Updates are reviewed before publication, and Beansider retains editorial control over every profile, including claimed venues.
Can I purchase the Beansider Verified badge?
No. Beansider Verified is independent of Basic and Premium and cannot be purchased. The badge identifies profile information personally checked by the Beansider team, with the verification date shown on the venue page. It is not a coffee-quality award or a guarantee that the information will never change.
What happens when my Premium Spotlight plan ends?
Premium is billed annually at €180. Before subscribing, contact Beansider to confirm renewal, cancellation and refund terms, including how your profile will be handled when the plan ends.
Can coffee brands, roasters and retailers partner with Beansider?
Yes. Beansider offers advertising opportunities alongside venue profiles, destination pages and maps. Roasters and retailers can also enquire about connecting coffee featured in a Beansider profile with the matching product in their online store. Partnerships are reviewed individually, and Beansider does not handle those product purchases.
