Frequently asked questions.
What is Beansider, and what kinds of places does it include?
Beansider is a curated directory of places where coffee forms part of the experience. Alongside specialty coffee shops, it includes cafés, bakeries, restaurants, hotel lounges, roasteries and other coffee-serving venues. Each profile aims to give you more than an address: location, atmosphere and practical details, with coffee information when it can be reliably identified.
How can I find coffee places in a city or country?
Search for a place or destination, browse Beansider’s country and city pages, or use the interactive coffee map. You can explore the places currently mapped in an area and open individual profiles to learn more before visiting. Coverage grows as new locations are researched and added.
What does the Beansider Verified badge mean?
A Beansider Verified badge identifies a profile whose listed details were personally checked by the Beansider team as of the date shown. Other profiles can still be curated without that badge. Information can change, so the badge is a dated verification record, not a promise that every detail will remain unchanged.
Can I see which coffee a place serves?
When reliable information is available, Beansider records the espresso coffee served, including its roaster or brand and coffee name. Some profiles also include origin, processing, roast level, tasting notes, equipment or the price of a single espresso. Not every place provides that level of detail, and unknown information is left out.
How do Beansider’s atmosphere tags work?
Tags such as deep focus, mindful pause and social buzz describe the general character of a place and help you judge whether it may fit your visit. They are editorial guidance rather than a guarantee: noise, seating and atmosphere can vary by time and day.
Can I suggest a place or update a listing?
Yes. Visitors and venue owners can suggest coffee-serving places, report changes or send corrected details. Beansider reviews submissions and maintains editorial control over published profiles; changes are not applied automatically. Use submit a place or contact contact@beansider.com.
